(федеральный закон США, который запретил дискриминацию по признаку расы, веры, национального происхождения и пола, в том числе в области трудовых отношений; дополняет закон "О гражданских правах" 1866 (1870) г.; в целом направлен против дискриминации при приеме на работу; в частности, раздел 7 дополняет законы "О гражданских правах" 1866 и 1870 гг.)
